Meet the Organization

An Important Part of Kansas City Culture Since 2003

MAFB, now presenting its 5th season, has been under the artistic leadership of Artistic Director Presten Fry since 2006. In April of 2002, the organization was formed to support Mid America Freedom Band's music endeavors.  MAFB is recognized for its adventurous concerts and its devotion to its fans and members. MAFB has performed 20+ concerts and many outreach programs, including Kansas City AIDS Walk, KC PRIDE, and Out in Westport.
