An Important Part of Kansas City Community
Mid America Freedom Band is recognized for its adventurous concerts, its devotion to its fans and members and its community outreach. Beyond MAFB's three annual concerts MAFB has performances including Kansas City AIDS Walk, Kansas City PRIDE, Out in Westport and, the Brookside St. Patrick's Day parade.
The band's leadership is comprised of a Board of Directors, Executive/Artistic Director and lead conductors. Members are involved in all aspects of production, marketing and fundraising. Anyone is welcome to join as a musical member or a non-playing member. We only ask that you be age 18 and above.
